Subject to these Terms, DC Hub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes only.
You may NOT:
You may use DC Hub data for:
The DC Hub Power Index (DCPI) — its scores, verdicts, band thresholds and published methodology — and our derived grid analysis are licensed to you under CC-BY-4.0. You may republish them, build on them, include them in reports you sell, and train models on them, provided you attribute per §5.4. Nothing in §5.3 restricts this.
This is DC Hub’s own computed work and we would rather be cited than paid for it. The full per-layer statement is at dchub.cloud/data-sources.
Except as expressly permitted by §5.2, you may NOT:
These restrictions exist because those layers are not ours alone to give away: the facility corpus contains OpenStreetMap data under ODbL 1.0, whose share-alike obligation would pass to you, and some upstream terms are still being confirmed. They are not a claim of ownership over public facts. See dchub.cloud/data-sources.
If you want to redistribute a layer that §5.2 does not cover, ask us — info@dchub.cloud. We clear sources individually and the answer is often yes.
When using DC Hub data in external presentations or publications, you must attribute it: “Source: DC Hub (dchub.cloud)”.
For the CC-BY-4.0 layer in §5.2, cite the index, its version and the date, so the figure is reproducible:
DC Hub Power Index (DCPI), DC Hub, dchub.cloud, CC-BY-4.0, method_version <version>. Retrieved <date>.
DCPI is recomputed daily and its verdict bands are versioned, so a score quoted without a version and a date cannot be checked against the published methodology.
Where you redistribute anything containing OpenStreetMap data, ODbL 1.0 requires you to credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors” and to license the result share-alike. That obligation runs to you directly and DC Hub cannot waive it on your behalf.
Enterprise subscribers receive API access subject to:
API abuse may result in immediate termination without refund.
You agree to:
DC Hub aggregates data from public sources, and every one of them is named at dchub.cloud/data-sources together with the licence that applies to it. While we strive for accuracy:
